
COMMUNITY PLEDGE

As part of our commitment to community and creativity in our area, we aim provide at least one self-funded workshop to a good cause each quarter. Sessions may be delivered to schools, community groups or charities. We are interested in providing opportunity to:

Provide creative experiences to those who might not normally have access to due financial or location restrictions

Provide opportunity to use creativity as a way to promote positive mental health

Provide connection for communities, particularly those in isolated areas
-
Provide new and exciting opportunities

Provide opportunity to use creativity to explore issues or themes within a wider context

Here are some of the things we have done so far as part of out Community Pledge:

Delivered a needle felting session for a support group for people living with chronic illnesses

Delivered a two printing sessions for children at schools in the East Riding of Yorkshire

Delivered a sewing workshop for a home education group
-
Delivered a drawing workshop for a reading/book group at Shared Story
-
Delivered a painting workshop for a support group for people living with dementia​

How You Can get Involved...
​
This project is ongoing. Sessions are available subject to our available time and resources. If you are a group, charity, school or other organisation who is interested in a workshop or session for a good cause, please email us.

We cannot guarantee we can offer you a session but we consider all requests.
