Needle Felting into Fabric

A wonderful workshop opportunity to learn two techniques in one day! Session run by Holly Capstick from Thread and Press CIC.

 

Learn how to needle-felt an image into fabric in the morning - it is so relaxing and so much fun. Lots of templates to choose from or bring your own image to work from (7 inch diameter max, natural forms or animal work best). In the afternoon, you will be shown how to use a sewing machine for 'free-motion' embroidery (lowering the feed dogs to draw with the machine). It creates a fantastic effect over felt. 

 

Holly is an experienced teacher and beginners are welcome - Holly can show you how even if you haven't done this before. All materials and equipment are provided, including sewing machines.

 

Hot drinks are provided. Please bring a packed lunch. Please note this venue is a stairs access only.
