Workshops for Children
We run workshops in sewing, screen printing, printmaking, fashion illustration, drawing and illustration, craft and 3D modelling! There is so much on offer and we provide exciting projects that will give young people creative skills for life. Age restrictions apply which may vary from session-to-session. Please check the listing before booking. Please note, for all courses in 2024 onwards, bookings will be taken via Craft Courses. The link for each course is below the listing. We offer a 10% sibling discount, to book for more than one child per session, please ensure you choose the correct ticket option at the booking stage. We also offer a discount for multiple bookings. If you book two sessions via Craft Courses in a 2 month period (excluding family and subsidised sessions) you may be entitled to a 10% money back offer. You do not need to do anything to get this discount, we will contact you to let you know how or if we will apply this. If you do not hear from us please feel free to contact us

Sew and Make a Mini Messenger Bag
Ages 8 - 16 years

Another great sewing opportunity for children. We show children how to sew and make a fantastic mini-messenger bag. They will learn how to safely use a sewing machine and make hems, seams and insert a zip! They will even make a pom-pom tassel trim. All materials and equipment provided, including sewing machines. No experience required. Lots of fabrics to choose from.
Please send your child with a drink/snack (no nuts please). Please note, this is a 'drop and leave' session although parents are welcome to stay if they feel this would be better for your child.
Session run by Thread and Press CIC and led by an experienced teacher with Enhanced DBS. Thread and Press CIC are ERMOS registered.

If your child would like to learn how to sew - we can show them how! In this fantastic workshop for children, we show young people how to sew and make a pencil case. Family Arts: Halloween Clay Creatures
Ages 5+ with accompanying adult

SESSION FULL
We are pleased to bring another fun family arts session. Halloween Clay Creatures is a great way for adults and children to craft and learn together. In this session, we guide you in making some fabulous fun Halloween inspired creatures using air drying clay. You will learn some great tips and techniques too.
Please send your child with a drink/snack (no nuts please). Please note, at least one adult is expected to stay with your child in this session. No more than 3 children for each adult please. Younger siblings welcome if they can be supervised.
Please note, multiple child or other discounts do not apply for this session.
