GRIMSBY - WE'RE BRINGING ONE OF OUR FAVOURITES TO YOU
Come and Join us for one of our favourite sessions! Creative Textiles is running in Grimsby on Friday 13th November, and (at the time of writing this) we have a few places left! It is a fantastic way to relax - begin by hand painting and dying fabrics and wonder at the beautiful colours on cottons and silks. Maybe even try a little lace printing to really build up the textures of your background. Then it is time for images - use some of ours (we have plenty) or bring some of your own. After lunch, it is on to the machines. Please don't worry fi you haven't used a machine before - it really doesn't matter! I can show you how to turn it on, thread up, and get started! The way you move the fabric with free-motion means you don't really need any prior sewing experience - it is a very different way to work. It is similar to 'drawing' or tracing. And it is so much fun! You will be shown how to layer your fabrics and make wonderful artwork.
