If you are home learning this academic year, or planning it for next term, we can run small projects to fit your needs. We bring exciting projects that both engage, teach and build confidence. We can set projects that connect to STEM and other subjects, using creativity as a way to engage. We can also run skill sessions that will teach both practical, creative skills along with the ability to problem-solve. We know how much our sessions will build confidence and ability to use initiative. We have experience of working with learners with a range of complex learning, social and behavioural needs. Our project can be linked to the National Curriculum or can follow a plan of your choice. We work with you to develop schemes of work or you can join in on one of our online sessions. These sessions are currently running online and provide a great way to provide safe, social interaction that can be as minimal or as interactive as you wish.
You can book as many sessions as you require (some sessions require a minimum booking block), to suit your needs. We usually work online via Zoom, or for longer or more regular sessions we can work at your own home (dependent on suitability and numbers).
If you are looking for private tuition for adults or children, we can help. If you are completely new to sewing, we offer one-to-one or small group sewing machine sessions. Perfect for children, adults or parents and children together. Learn to use your machine safely, how to identify and fix problems and how to work on simple but effective sewing projects. We can provide all materials or work with your chosen fabrics. We can also provide sewing machines or help you to use your own.
If you are a more experienced sewer, we can help you to take the next step on your sewing journey. We can support you through projects such as:
Free-motion stitch on your sewing machine 'drawing' with your sewing machine
Printmaking (lino printing, dry-point etching)
You can book as many sessions as you require, to suit your needs. We can work at your own home, from a safe distance and wear appropriate PPE.
