It is one of our most popular courses - probably because there is something for everyone.
A relaxing morning spent painting and dying cottons and silks is so relaxing. Get lost in the moment and feel like you are a child again - exploring colour on fabric surface.
Then its time to plan your design - you DO NOT NEED TO BE AN ARTIST. We have LOADS of templates to choose from - you can copy our designs or mix and match to create your own. Fancy yourself as a bit of an artist? There is plenty of scope to develop your own ideas - bring along any images printed ready to use (if you don't have a printer you can email them to us to print and bring along)
Then in the afternoon - its time for the machines. I have said it before but please DO NOT WORRY or feel put off if you haven't used a machine before _ will show you how to thread it and work the machine and actually, between you and me, if you have never sewn before, you perhaps have a little advantage - you don't need to unlearn how to sew! Free-motion is a very different way to move the fabric. You will soon be flying along.
